FUNERALS
It is our prayer that the Lord bless you with peace at this time of loss, and give you comfort in the hope of the glorious resurrection and a happy reunion in heaven.
Services that are held at Desert Foothills Lutheran Church will be performed by the pastor of Desert Foothills Lutheran Church.
Pastors from sister congregations may be invited by the pastor to take part in the ceremony.
All services will be Christ-centered and Gospel-centered.
 Please note the following:
Members:
No charge for service or reception.
Reception must fit in the following guidelines:
Less than 100 people -- Finger foods can be served. More than 100 people -- Cake, coffee and punch will only be served. $150 maximum expenditure for member’s memorial, paid by church, through the Funeral Services fund.
Non-Members:
Recommended honorarium for clergy = $250
Musician fee = $150
Church fee = $300
Church care-taker fee (Sexton) = $100
The family also agrees to be responsible for any catering costs.
They will be given the following options:
For less than 100 people attending reception -- Finger foods = $300
For more than 100 attending reception -- Cake, coffee, punch (only) = $150
