OUR LOGO
JESUS CHRIST This is the graphic representation of the Christ figure that serves as the architectural focal point of our facility. This is widely recognizable to those living in the area. It also reinforces that on earth, the church is the body of Christ. The Christ figure is the resurrected Christ, not the crucified Christ. He reign victorious over the cross, not remaining submissive to the cross – serving as a reminder that our church remains victorious only if it has Christ as its head. CROSS This universal symbol represents the Christian faith. In provides a quick visual reference of where we base our faith – the empty cross or the resurrected Lord. CIRCLE AROUND THE CENTER OF THE CROSS This represents believers gathered around Christ receiving his gifts through Word and Sacrament, unified in doctrine and practice, building up and supporting one another. RAYS SHOOTING OUT FROM THE CENTER OF THE CIRCLE As a body of believers our love through Christ radiates beyond the walls of the church, letting his light shine forth to all. |
