OUTREACH - This program is designed to minister to visitors and those
desiring to be members of the church as well as to invite newcomers to the area
to join us in worship. The programs include:

2nd Tuesday Lunch Bunch -
This ministry is open to all members and any guests who would like to participate.
The group meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 11:30am.
Every month a different restaurant within a 10-mile radius of church is selected.
It is a fun and informal way to build relationships with members and their friends.
Call the church office or check out our online newsletter or calendar before the 2nd Tuesday of the month to find out where that month's lunch has been scheduled.

Fellowship Bread -
Every visitor receives a loaf of bread from Pastor as they leave the sanctuary after services.
We have a team of "bakers" who enjoy providing this welcome to our first-time guests.
If you are interested in joining our team of bakers, please leave a message at the church office for Olive Mascha.

Patio Fellowship -
Between services on Sunday, complimentary coffee, juice and baked goods are served along with good Christian fellowship.
This is a good way to meet members and become acquainted with our programs here at DFLC.
We can always use servers and bakers to help with this fellowship time.

New Member Classes -
At least twice a year, we have a new member class where Pastor reviews the doctrine of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.
This class usually lasts four weeks and a fifth week is led by the Outreach Chairperson who will conduct a Spiritual Gifts survey for each prospective member to assess their Spiritual Gifts.
This is followed by Council members and other key leaders to come and introduce themselves and their part in serving at DFLC.
New members are encouraged to find a place to serve by using their Spiritual Gifts survey results.

Welcome Cart -
This is our information headquarters here at DFLC on Sunday mornings.
Pick up the latest "Portals of Prayer" or other informative booklets.
Sign up to volunteer or participate in events.
We can use Hostesses or Hosts to tend our Welcome Cart.
It is a good way to greet newcomers and members alike.
