Women's Ministries

DFLC’s Women’s Ministries embraces all women from ages 18-118 and seeks to equip you to be His faithful servant through Bible Studies and special events/gathering.  We want to help you create lasting, genuine friendships, grow in your walk with Christ, and live abundantly in whatever season God has placed you in.  Take time to become a part of the opportunities offered at DFLC.  If you would like to be a part of planning and developing Women’s Ministries at DFLC contact women@dflc.org.

Women's Tuesday Bible Study is starting
September 27

Tuesday Morning 9:30 am in the Sanctuary Lobby.
Join us as we begin this great video lead study on the book of 2 Timothy by Beth Moore

We were never meant to take this journey of faith alone or in secret. God has entrusted us with the great and might gift of the gospel, something too precious and life-giving to keep to ourselves.
In this Bible study, Beth will encourage you to guard what God has entrusted to you, further His kingdom by sharing Christ with others, and pour into future generations just as Paul once mentored Timothy. Because in this journey of joy and hardship, we need each other to stay the course and live lives of faithfulness.
Workbooks will be available the first day of class for $10. This study will go through the middle of March. Invite a friend or a neighbor to join us. If you have any questions, contact Patty Wendel.

Are you a creative individual who enjoys providing comfort to others?  We welcome you to Prayer Shawl Ministry. This group knits and crochets Prayer Shawls to give or send to those needing comfort and prayers.  As we create our shawls, a positive energy and many prayers are put into them.  As the shawls are used, it is our hope that the recipients feel God's arms enfolding them and feel His love, comfort, and healing.  We meet twice a month to stitch, share patterns, and pray for all our sisters and brothers in Christ.  The rewards to each of us are numerous and heartwarming.  This is a beautiful outreach group at DFLC.
